Connect end users to supported exchanges and wallets for digital-asset deposits and withdrawals with AUTH.

# AUTH Overview

**Bring digital-asset deposits and withdrawals into your platform just like linking a bank account. **With AUTH, end users connect a supported exchange or wallet through an AUTH-enabled software development kit (SDK), choose an asset, and initiate a transfer.

Offer connections to institutional accounts (held by a provider, such as an exchange) and popular wallets such as MetaMask and Phantom (controlled by the wallet holder). ## From external account to transfer status

1. **Connect:** Your end user opens an AUTH-enabled deposit or withdrawal flow and connects a supported provider or wallet.
2. **Review and submit:** Your end user chooses an available asset, reviews the transfer details, and submits the transfer. The available providers, assets, and networks reflect your platform’s configuration.
3. **Track the outcome:** Your platform uses transaction-status webhooks to distinguish submission from confirmation, completion, failure, and recovery.

For a deposit, the end user transfers digital assets from an external account toward the account used by your platform. For a withdrawal, the transfer moves from your platform toward a supported external account or wallet.
