PSP integrations
Platforms often couple their Zero Hash integration with a payment service provider (PSP) integration - this guide highlights key considerations
Applicable Zero Hash products
- Stablecoin or Crypto On and Off Ramp
- Remittances
Background
Platforms will typically accompany their Zero Hash integration with a PSP integration. For instance, a Platform building an on and off ramp using Zero Hash will want their customers to be able to purchase crypto using a card or a popular digital wallet (ie, Apple pay) - the company responsible for this part of the flow is the PSP.
The PSP is responsible for the processing of the fiat leg of the transaction, Zero Hash is responsible for the crypto or stablecoin side.
Requirements
Zero Hash has certain regulatory requirements that must be followed for this setup to be approved and greenlit:
- For each transaction, the Platform must pass the name of the PSP (the
name
field) and a UUID of the transaction that can be tied to the transaction on the PSP side (theid
field) - Zero Hash must receive daily fiat directly from the PSP, and then the Platform can recoup the funds directly from Zero Hash, if they wish.
